Thanks to everyone who took the time to nominate their favourite riders for this year's awards. We counted up your nominations and now it's time to vote!
FAQ’S about the nomination and voting process:
- Who can nominate or vote?
Anyone can be nominated or nominate someone else for an Alberta Freeride Award. Once the voting is up anyone can vote.
- How does someone get nominated?
Simply input the rider's names into each of the category, hit submit and they're nominated. Easy peasy.
- How do the nominees get short listed for the final vote?
The top 3 names that are mentioned the most often are shortlisted for the final vote.
- Who qualifies for an AFA?
Riders that are nominated must currently reside and ride in Alberta.
- How does someone win an AFA?
The votes are calculated and the names that receive the most votes win AFA’s.
- What happens if I am nominated?
If you are nominated we ask that you post some pictures of yourself to entice others to vote for you. NOTE: any pictures that you upload can be used during the event and in AFA promotional material. To upload pictures you must create an account.
- How do I create an account?
Simply click on “join us” (top right corner of your screen) and fill in your information and you’re set!
